How do we preserve Hawaiian culture through the lens of food?

When culture stands still it ends up as a footnote in the history books of the colonizers. In order to preserve it, a community must carry it forward while never compromising its true essence.

That essence is what Chef Mark Noguchi and his wife Amanda Corby Noguchi embody through food, education and community — preserving ancient ways of being by holding space for them in the present.
