Landscapes

I like landscapes with no people and music with no words. Don’t get me wrong: I love people, and words (a lot). There are even a few in these photographs. But people and their words are a vanishingly thin layer atop something deeper, vaster and far more mysterious. That’s what draws me into the landscapes and holds me there, enchanted.

Why? The landscape is a mirror to a part of me that precedes both people and words.
