Yard

I love the inherent tension that yards draw between Human and Nature. After all, yards are defined by their adjacency and counterpoint to architecture.

If Human is straight and Nature is wiggly, the yard is a tamed wiggle. Wiggly enough to feel wiggly, but straight enough for us to feel safe and civil. The radical, liberating truth? Even the straightest line is just a wiggly one zoomed out far enough to make your brain siiiigh in relief.
